This wheelset features 35mm deep double wall rims laced to a rear flip/flop sealed hub and a front sealed hub. The flip/flop hub allows you to switch between fixed gear or single speed (freewheel).

We recommend using tires ranging from 700 x 23c to 700 x 35c (tires and tubes not included). The black, orange, green, and yellow wheelsets come with track nuts and the other colors come with standard 3/8″ nuts to accommodate the 3/8″ axle.

For the 75$ that I paid, I can't believe the quality of the product I received! The wheels are not light but feel solid and well-constructed. The front wheel may need to be trued a bit, but nothing that compromises ride quality. I was able to pop on some tape, tubes, and replaced my junky wheels with these fancy new ones in less than 1 hour. Everything spins smoothly without any weird squeeks. Makes me feel sexy and confident during my commute to and from work. Chose blue to make my grey SS track bike more visibile on the road. Also, the box includes a letter with an actual signature from Wyatt - which was a nice, personal touch. Thanks, Wyatt!

Wyatt single speed wheel set

I purchased a set of Wyatt wheels to re freshen my 77 year old dads worn out 40 year old campy wheel set on his fixed gear. The wheel set that arrived from Wyatt shipped very quickly. So thumbs up for that!
Upon inspection the wheels looked solid, had great fit and finish and even had sealed hub bearings with a flip flop rear and perfectly true right out of the box. The photos on the net really do not portray how really nice they are .The axels are 3/8” diameter with a 26 pitch thread. So you probably need to file your fork ends to fit the larger axel as most front Quick Release wheels are 9mm.

What I found a bit lacking where that it came with standard BMX nuts instead of swivel nuts but that is really a matter of preference I guess as the pricing is super competitive for the quality your getting so I guess they have to cut something to be able to deliver at that price point but swivel nuts do make it simpler to keep the nuts from walking as you tighten them mostly usefull at least for the rear when tensioning the chain

The black, orange, red, green, and yellow wheelsets do come with track bolts (swivel nuts) and a 9mm front axle as these are slightly newer than the other colors.
