What is the customer ambassador program?

At Wyatt, we don’t sell our bicycles through a traditional distribution model, where customers can test ride a bike at a bicycle shop. The customer ambassador program is designed to fill that void and connect current Wyatt customers with potential customers within a given geographical area. Customer ambassadors are willing to let potential customers test ride a bike and answer any questions that they might have.

How does it work?

After you officially become a Wyatt Customer Ambassador, we will let you know of any test ride inquiries that come to us from someone in or near your location. You have a choice to accept or decline the test ride request — there is no obligation or requirement to accept any test ride request. If you accept, we’ll arrange a short meeting between you and the potential customer, so that you can show them your Wyatt bike, share your experiences, and allow them to take the bike for a short test ride.

How do I earn?

After the test ride, if the interested rider decides to purchase a bicycle online, you’ll receive a 5% commission, an average of $100, on the sale! There is no limit to the number of test ride requests you can take, so you have the potential to earn hundreds of dollars every month!

If there is no sale within 45 days after the test ride, you will receive a $15 store credit for your time.

Additional ways to earn

Many of our customers have told us that when they are out riding, curious bystanders frequently ask them about the bike they are riding. Most of the time, this is the first time they have ever seen or heard of Wyatt bicycles.

As a customer ambassador, you can choose to receive complimentary business cards that you can distribute during such interactions. The cards will contain a unique discount code tied to your customer account. If by chance the person decides to buy a bike and the buyer includes that discount code with their purchase, you will receive a 5% commission on the sale!

Another way to earn your 5% commission is by sharing your unique customer URL on your social media pages. When a potential customer clicks your URL, there will be a 30-day cookie activated that tracks if they make a purchase after clicking your link. If they do, you will receive your 5% commission! How do get paid?

After a sale has been made and 45 days has lapsed, you will see a direct deposit of the 5% commission rate into your PayPal account. The 45 days gives us time to manufacture the bike and allows for the 30-day return policy to expire. If the customer returns their bike, you will not receive the 5% commission, but you will receive the $15 store credit for your time.

How do I apply?

You can apply to become a Wyatt Customer Ambassador by filling out the form here. Not all customers will be accepted due to the number of current ambassadors in a given area.

Requirements:

  • Current Wyatt customer
  • Purchased your bike new from Wyatt Bicycles
  • Own an American-made Wyatt bike (Maverick 7 or Vista)
  • Over the age of 18
  • Have a valid PayPal account
